A Beginner’s Guide to Repressing
Step #1: What You Will Need Before You Repress
-1 Ton arbor Press (Harbor Freight, Amazon)
-Printing Paper cut into 1/2
-2x3 cellophane bags
-Alcohol
-Sandwich bags
Optional:
-Steel Bench Block (4x4inch 1/2 thickness)
-Art rubber roller

(*This video was made a while ago. I've made a small adjustments to the Mold. At 2:23, I mentioned filling the mold up to 80–90% with product. You can now fill it all the way to the top.)
Step #3: Advice
Not everything can or should be repressed. If you're new to repressing, I recommend starting with matte products only. Practice on inexpensive or unused items so you don't risk damaging your favorites. Once you get the hang of the process, you can move on to your other products. There will be a lot of trial and error. Sometimes you'll repress a product and notice small cracks the first time, that's normal. Just try again.
